Tasty Curried Rice...




A curried rice is always welcome whether you are having beef stew, lentils, or chicken. It is very easy and it goes like this....








You will need:
Serves 4 -6 as a side dish.
-  3 cups of rice.
-  50 gr butter cut up in small pieces.
-  4½ cups of boiling water.
-  3 hot chillies sliced very thin.
-  1 Tbsp. ready made curry powder.
-  Salt to taste.
Method:
-  Boil water.
Lentils On Curried Rice (My Portion!!)
-  Add sliced chilies, curry powder, salt.
-  Add rice, stir, lower heat to minimum, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
-  When time is up add the butter in pieces, cover again and let stand till the butter melts in the hot rice.
-  Stir rice well before serving.
