Black Eyed Peas with Canned Tunafish, Scalions, And Dill

A light meal for lunch or dinner, this dish is quick and easy to make.
You will need:
Serves 4.

-  500 gms of black eyed peas soaked in water overnight.
-  1 medium onion chopped.
-  4 cloves of garlic crushed and finely chopped.
-  2 bay leaves.
-  1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
-  1 tsp. dry thyme.
-  1 bouillon cube beef, chicken or vegetables dissolved in some hot water.
-  1 bunch dill chopped  very finely.
-  4 scallions finely (sliced including the green part)
-  1 can of tunafish (170 gms. per person)
Method:
-  Boil the black eyed peas in enough water to cover by 2cms on maximum heat.
-  Add the onion, garlic, bay leaf, thyme, the boillon solution, salt and pepper. Simmer till black eyed peas are cooked.
-   Drain, and cool. You can drink the resulting liquid they boiled in if you wish.
-  Add scallions and dill, mix well.
-  Add the tunafish and mix.
Note: In order to avoid confusion who eat more or less tuna during the meal, each person can open his/hers tuna fish can and is responsible for it!!
