Batter Fried Codfish Cakes .....Commonly Called Fish And Chips

There isn't much to tell about codfish that hasn't been said before in my previous recipes except that this time it is fried with a nice batter the recipe of which I would like to share with you.
You will need:
Serves 3
- 1 kg codfish burgers about 7 pieces.
-  For the batter.
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup corn flour
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg 
  • ½ tbsp. cayenne 
-  Oil to fry.
-  Prepare batter and refrigerate.
-  When ready to fry, coat each peace of codfish with batter, and fry to golden brown. Put them all together to fry if the pan is big enough.
-  When golden brown, strain from oil with slotted spoon, and place on kitchen paper to absorb extra oil.
Serve with french fried potatoes (chips) ketchup, mayo,  Don't forget to add some vinegar on the french fries.
