Octopuss....Absolutely Delicious !!

Today we had the most delicious octopus ever and am dying to share it with you.
Wasn't in the mood for too much fuss in the kitchen so having already thawed the monster overnight, just boiled it for one hour. Lemon and Greek Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the region of Kalamata and it was out of this world!
You will need:
Serves 4
-  1 Octopus weighing 2 kg frozen, thawed overnight. Cut head and separated the eight tentacles as in photo.
-  4 cups water.
Method:
-  Add water and octopus to deep saucepan and bring to a boil.
-  Let simmer with cover on for 1 hour or until tender to your taste.
-  In Greek ouzeris or fish tavernas, the tentacles are usually cut in one inch pieces and charge you an arm and a leg for just a few pieces!  So here is your chance to enjoy it whole tentacle or two or cut as you wish.
Ready to serve with lemon, olive oil and with whatever herbs or spices you like. I was the only one who sprinkled some Chili powder on mine, the others just olive oil and lemon juice.
This is a very nice ouzo snack.
