Sauce No.6 for Pasta: Fresh Butter/Sage

This spaghetti preparation is good for those evenings you are back from the office, tired, alone, don't want to order out and all you have in the fridge is old hard cheese and butter. This dish is may be too simple for guests but just for you.
You will need:
Serves 1
- 100 gms of spaghetti or any other past except lasagna.
- 25 gms of good fresh butter.
- Either fresh or dried Sage.
- BLACK pepper mill.
Method:
- Boil spaghetti as per instructions on box. Strain.
- While the spaghetti is in the collander, add your butter in the pot till it melts completely. Add the sage and stir till the beautiful sage/butter aroma reaches you and the butter is a little brown. Turn fire off.
- Add spaghetti, you should hear the "ttshshsh" when the spaghetti hits the butter.
- Stir and shake pot, add freshly grated cheese in the pot, two turns of the pepper mill, mix and serve immediately.
Tip: You can use any kind of pasta except lasagna for this recipe.
A quick pasta meal when you cannot be bothered to cook anything else.
All the best
Stelio
